Keith Alexander was the Commander, U.S. Cyber Command (2010-2014) and Director, National Security Agency/Chief Central Security Service (2005-2014). On April 14 in Washington D.C., he will share key insights into the cybersecurity concerns of today’s digital age and discuss strategies for the Internet of things in his keynote session, “Effective Cyber Strategies and Securing the Internet.”
During the presentation, Gen. Keith Alexander will highlight the vulnerabilities of critical infrastructure and susceptibility of the military’s command and control structure, as well as the economy’s dependency on the functionality of the Internet. He will also share his in-depth vision and challenges for the future of connected devices and how best to engage with and protect the digital ecosystems we live and work in while still preserving freedom and liberty.
Following Gen. Keith Alexander’s keynote address will be breakout sessions led by MaryAnn Wu, IRS, Senior Manager of Delivery Services, Enterprise Program Office, who will reveal different program successes of complying with the IRS Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act. Other breakout sessions with Axway experts will discuss identity management and cybersecurity, focusing on the security of government credentials and the transformation benefits of an API First, mobile-ready strategy. Attendees will also gain insights into enabling agile development through budget saving and increasing innovation in the digital economy.
