Dan Gainey, will walk through the evaluation criteria touching on security, infrastructure and how this has empowered MLB to have a digital workplace without borders.
Daniel Gainey is the Manager of IT Operations for Major League Baseball. Over his 20 years, he has taken MLB from seven servers supporting nine applications to 150 core applications communicating over a 40-site WAN. He has overseen technology operations for eight World Series, nine All-Star Games, and three World Baseball Classics. He is a founding member of the MLB IT Change Advisory Board, and he owned the Security Process and co-owned the Architecture Process for the MLB IT Transformation Project. He is a graduate of Villanova University, where he also earned a Masters Certificate in Business and Law of Sports.
