Digital Trade & Transportation Network (DTTN)

In 2001, the Hong Kong government appointed a consultant to study the development of an inter-modal and supporting facilities for speeding up the flow of goods and information. To turn this concept into reality, the government selected Tradelink Electronic Commerce Ltd. (“Tradelink”) to develop and operate the DTTN (Digital Trade and Transportation Network) services. DTTN requires a B2B platform which must be robust and flexible enough so that it can adapt to the market demand, evolve as new standards appear, and scale up as data volume increases. The Axway platform benefits Hong Kong businesses – including small and medium enterprises – by reducing administrative costs, improving supply chain efficiencies and providing global visibility, as well as track and trace services.
