What's New in SecureTransport™
The Axway and Tumbleweed merger last September brought together two of the market leaders in managed file transfer (MFT). This month we're announcing the immediate availability of the latest release of Axway SecureTransport™. Axway SecureTransport incorporates key components of the award-winning Axway Synchrony™ framework, enabling simplified operational processes and providing visibility inside and outside the enterprise. Both SecureTransport and Axway Transfer, Axway's leading MFT solutions, deliver customer value and system-to-system file changes while seamlessly integrating with Axway's Sentinel business activity monitoring (BAM) product.
With Axway Sentinel, SecureTransport provides additional insight through business dashboards for visibility into purchase orders, invoices, and advance ship notices (ASN) and service level agreements (SLAs), as well as technical dashboards for visibility into business-to-business (B2B) transmissions and events. SecureTransport allows organizations to adeptly control and manage the transfer of files inside and outside the corporate firewall in support of mission-critical business processes. SecureTransport is designed to easily integrate with existing IT infrastructure to maximize your IT investment.
Additional highlights for the latest SecureTransport release include:
- Integration with Sterling Commerce's Connect:Direct to provide users with more open, Internet-based connectivity. Those who have already installed and configured the Java files for Connect:Direct can send, receive, and manage file transfers that use the Connect:Direct transfer site. This enables you to use any of the protocols SecureTransport supports for file transfers, and hand off to Connect:Direct for processing.
- Improved operational efficiencies with the ability to restart and resubmit a permanently failed transfer or a failed post-transmission action — even those from archive — for simplified administrative overhead.
- Increased support for PGP9 for improved performance and fewer errors when encrypting and decrypting files.
- New Rich Internet Client lets you transfer files from computer or network to a SecureTransport server and allows you to create, delete and change folders.
Axway's industry-leading MFT solutions offer end-to-end visibility and governance over all file-based interaction patterns — business-to-business, system-to-system, and person-to-person — to meet your growing community needs.
