Axway Wins Second HDMA iBusiness Solution Award
Healthcare Distribution Management Association Recognizes Excellence of Synchrony™ ePedigree
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Axway, Inc. today announced that the Healthcare Distribution Management Association (HDMA) has selected Axway's technology as the winning solution provider of the iBusiness Solution Award for the second year in a row. The company's Synchrony™ ePedigree solution was recognized for its innovative approach to securing the integrity of the pharmaceutical supply chain. Last year, Axway's Synchrony™ CSOS (Controlled Substance Ordering System) won the award.
Electronic pedigree technology is a critical solution in preventing counterfeit drugs from entering the healthcare supply chain. Axway's Synchrony ePedigree is the only technology on the market that leverages the customer's existing e-commerce gateway system to manage electronic pedigrees, thus reducing overall complexity. The solution also positions the customer for compliance with future product safety requirements, including California's pedigree regulations and proposed item-level track-and-trace requirements.

The HDMA announced winners of the annual awards at its Distribution Management Conference & Expo on Tuesday, June 12, 2007.
