Champions “have a strong market presence and are usually the trend setters for the industry.” According to Stewart Bond, Senior Consulting Analyst, at Info-Tech Research Group, “Axway’s MFT solutions should be on the shortlist for large enterprises with complex file transfer and integration needs. The multi-product MFT portfolio allows organizations to customize and add functionality, rather than purchasing a complex solution with unneeded capabilities. Axway is continuing to expand on its abilities for end-to-end data transfer and integration, recently acquiring the Vordel API server to compete in the emerging API economy.”
The “Magic Quadrant for Application Services Governance,” authored by Paolo Maliverno, states, “driven by the transformations the Nexus of Forces cause, users who need solutions to support their API management and SOA governance efforts will find that providers in the application services governance space have sensibly extended their offerings, both on-premises and in the cloud.”
According to the report, “initially, these integration patterns were applied for internal, application-to-application (A2A) integration and for integrating an organization's applications with those of its trading partners — that is, B2B integration. Today, the patterns are applied to a broader array of application integration projects.” “Enterprises need systematic application integration functionality supporting robust messaging, multiple B2B protocols and cloud APIs.
